Mat and Gloss
A set of cups and plates glazed with a combination of mat and glossy glazes.
All objects are entirely hand built and have a character of their own. There are no two alike, so there will be slight variations in shape, colouring and volume.
Glaze Fired to Cone 5 • Food Safe • Dishwasher Safe • Lead Free • Microwave Safe
Each item goes through a series of processes:
1. Sketching → 2. Slab rolling → 3. Cutting → 4. Stamping → 5. Gluing → 6. Faceting → 7. Retouching → 8. Sandpaper processing → 9. Bisque firing → 10. Sandpaper processing → 11. Glazing → 12. Glaze firing → 13. Sandpaper processing
